This is a very personal decision. Why I chose to be vaccinated-. Being in a health care related profession and additionally working up close to people, I feel it is the right thing to do for myself and those around me (also for my loved ones). I also have clients who have underlying health issues and therefore are high risk. Safety first!
The World Health Organization is still urging everyone, including fully vaccinated people, to wear masks and to take other COVID-19 precautions in light of the ongoing spread. From the original COVID and marching through into Omicron, I have continued my hyper vigilance and will proceed as such until...

6.2023 Update-
I am of course, concerned with any sort of contagious illness, but I ask that you pay close attention to symptoms of COVID-19 such as:
Temperature increase
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
"Pink Eye"
Recent changes in you eyes- sore, itchy, watery, mucousy, gritty.
Burning sensations (or recent changes) in your hands and/or feet.
Recent changes in your tongue such as swollen/inflamed, bumps, mouth sores, "odd white patchy areas".
If you or anyone in your household have these symptoms, I ask that you wait to schedule or cancel your appointment at the earliest signs of symptoms. Thank you and Be Well and Stay Safe.
*Please do not schedule if you or anyone "in your circle" are ill-
respiratory symptoms, Covid or other contagious conditions.
Wait until you are definitely well. Thanks!!*

6.2023- *If you had any symptoms relating to Covid, a cold or flu or other contagious disease in the last 72 hours (or if you have been exposed to individuals with Covid within the previous 14 days), please wait to schedule. And obviously if you have tested positive for COVID-19 same as mentioned. This is common courtesy. Wait to schedule for 14 days or until you’ve tested negative for COVID-19. I must make the best possible decision for clients’ w/ a wide range of health issues as well as for myself & my loved ones too. Erring on the side of caution is the best approach for all.
Thank you in advance for understanding.
Regarding The Delta Variant- I am doing my best to keep myself and you informed.
All viruses change and mutate. This particular Covid-19 strain is linked to a different set of symptoms. Instead of the traditional cough, fever, and loss of taste and smell, infected individuals are now complaining of headache, sore throat, and runny nose, with fever and cough. Doctors have seen an increased likelihood of hearing loss, severe stomach pains, and nausea in patients as well. The new strain is reportedly more contagious and more likely to lead to hospitalizations. (A new study suggests the Delta variant is linked to an 85 percent higher risk of hospitalization than other strains, and is 60 percent more transmissible than the Alpha (B.1.1.7) variant.- It is as transmissible as chickenpox.)
Stay home and get tested if you feel unwell. We are navigating a whole new set of illnesses. The good news, however, is that data suggests "if you've been fully vaccinated, you remain protected, that the vaccines hold up." (Please note- this is not at quite the same percentage as the original Covid-19 protection but it is still protection. Further studies are underway.)
Let's do our best to keep ourselves and those around us safe. We're all ready to say farewell to the pandemic, but we are not quite there yet, especially for those not fully vaccinated yet.
